I spent this morning picking sweet corn on the Brown’s farm. We gathered about ten five-gallon buckets full of sweet corn.
The corn is delicious beyond expectation. Sweet corn is one of the delights of summer. We only eat sweet corn when it is freshly picked and in season. I know that’s why I appreciate a fresh ear of corn. This corn was even sweeter because I was involved in the picking. I know sweet corn will be on the menu again tomorrow. Something to look forward to.
