Leadership Lincoln County 2006 – 2007 held its first class today. I serve on the Leadership Lincoln County (LLC) Committee which plans and manages to program for the North Platte Chamber. According to participant evaluations the first session was an overwhelming success. The theme of Session I was, “Getting to Know Your Leadership Style & Networking.”David Bernard Stevens provided the group with an overview of leadership. Stu Shepard helped participants determine their leadership style using the Color Matrix personality style exercise. Jan Wright explored the world of networking with the class. Redefine your definition of “stranger,” Jan suggested as a way to open the door to meeting new people.

The media will be the theme for our September meeting.
