BLTs on November 2nd
You read the headline correctly. We had BLTs for supper tonight, Tuesday, November 2nd with tomatoes from our own garden. Usually BLTs are a faint memory at this time of year. I must say, um um good! A <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BLT_sandwich" target="_blank">BLT sandwich</a> or Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato sandwich, is served on three pieces of toasted wheat bread with three or so strips of fried bacon, a hunk of lettuce and a few slices of tomato from our Garden, topped with Mirical Wip. One of the great treats of summer.
