Lenten eMeditation – March 12, 2006 #12

Today we gathered in the sanctuary of our church community for a brief time. We are a people who gather around the Good News of Jesus, are nourished with his life, feed each other, and then free each other to go forth and be about very different pieces of work for the reign of God.

We’ve gathered to find a place together; we made a place together and it has become especially holy. We’ve shared our journey and our story. Now we are empowered by you, our God, to be sanctuary for others we will meet on our journey.

In Jesus’ name we gather and pray and go forth.

Amen.
