It snowed most of the day today. KNOP TV reported on the 6 pm news that we had received 6 inches. Seems like more than 6 inches to me. The left picture of the tree in our back yard was taken at about 9:00 am. The right picture of the same tree was taken at about 6:45 pm. Now that is a lot of snow. The Nebraska State Patrol, in conjunction with the Nebraska Department of Roads, closed many roads in Nebraska this afternoon including parts of I-80. Here is what the North Platte Bulletin had to say about the storm.

KNOP reported on their web site that: "Folks in the North Platte area could see 15 inches by the time the storm is done Monday night. 16 to 20 inches of snow could fall in the sandhills, in North Central Nebraska. Maybe even 2 feet of the white stuff could be recorded." Read their story here.
