Alltel pulls out
I learned by accident that Alltel will no longer offer Dial-Up service in North Platte. So there goes my E-mail address and internet connections. I contacted Qwest today and ordered DSL service. It will not be operative until July 5, 2004....So, I'm faced with four days without internet service. Alltel, said they sent E-mails informing their customers of the change, their offering DSL for what becomes $35.00/month, but I don't remember seeing the e-mail. Of course I don't always read the promotional e-mail that I receive. I'll learn from this to at least scan the e-mail that comes from my ISP. I know we will like the new 256k connection. Well, I've got some "Change Address" E-mails to send.
