The thermometers I've seen today have been below 0. Currently it is -2. Last week it was 60+. I know our weather is not as bad as the weather some parts of our world are and have experienced. Yesterday we visited the art studio where they are painting a large wall size mural for our new office. If I remember correctly the mural is about 8 feet by 16 feet. The mural depicts ministry scenes from the Diocese of Grand Island in a stylized form. I must say it is spectacular. We will have the dedication of the mural in early April. I don't want to give away the image until it is hung on our wall. But trust me it will be spectacular. The image on the right is a picture of a paint pallet on the artists table.
I've decided to run for a seat on the North Platte City Council. I do look forward to the challenge of campaigning. It will be an interesting phase of my life. (I do pay for this web site out of my pocket and write all of its content myself.)
