Winter Wonder Land Winter Wonder LandIt is a winter wonder land in North Platte today. One radio announcer said this is the biggest winter storm we've had all winter. This storm hit on the heals of winter. All the schools in North Platte and the surrounding area are closed today. Many business and governmental offices are also closed and citizens are being told to stay off the roads if possible. We need the moisture in the worst way so I'm not hearing anyone complain. This is after all a Snow Day. I know I'm able to appreciate a snow day regardless of my age. Be safe and enjoy. (This picture was taken outside our front door.)
