A ceili includes food, music, dancing, storytelling, and overall socializing People walk though the dances a few times and then everyone dances together to music. Anyone who can walk can do it! Flatrock Irregulars will play Irish music from 5:00 — 6:00 pm

The Thunder On The Plains Project was started in 2007 to help positively promote and encourage artistic expression and appreciation of the Midwest’s Heritage. Currently we’re a team of performing/studying dancers as well as instructors, Ceili and Workshop organizers and Radio and YouTube show producers. www.thethunderontheplainsproject.com

Featuring:

Marcus Donnelly – Irish Dancer

From Ireland to Luxemburg and from Moscow to Paris, France and Paris, Texas, his leading performances with shows such as Ragús, Rhythm of the Dance, Celtic Legends, and most recently in the U.S. with Celtic Crossroads have created one of the most exhilarating, truly creative Irish dancers performing today. When he is not touring he works with his own dance company, Furious Feet, in Galway, Ireland.

Susan

Susan has been Irish Dancing for over 6 years – originally with the Lincoln Irish Dancers.  Susan’s background from Lincoln is rich with Step Dance and Sean Nós flavorings and a pinch of Ceili for fun.  With Cassandra, Susan also trains with the Corry Academy of Irish Dance and Adrian Murphy. Susan is our diligent task-master and queen of positive attitudes.  She keeps the smiles coming and the beats consistent.

The Flatrock Irregulars, North Platte’s premier Irish Band, will play from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Come join us for food and song. This will be a night to remember.
