Teresa shard this picture with me from the Flat Rock Irregulars’ performance Downtown during the monthly Arts Around Town event. The North Platte Creativity Unlimited Arts Council uses these monthly events to raise money to renovate the Arts Center (the 1930 Post Office Building). We were happy to be part of this effort. The Irregulars will play again on Saturday, August 22 at the Farmer’s Market. Vegetables and Irish music what a way to spend a Saturday morning.

I’d like to thank the Downtown merchants and the Arts Council for sponsoring this great opportunity to celebrate the arts in Downtown North Platte. There are a lot of really talented people in North Platte. For example the group Blue Swing who also performed the the Arts Around Town.
