The Flat Rock Irregulars played at the Heritage Festival on Saturday, August 20, 2011. We had a great time. Our set lasted a little over an hour. I feel like my skills on the bass continue to improve. I’ve memorized several of the songs in our current play list. Learning to memorize songs is a challenge. Participants in the Festival seemed to enjoy our performance. We appreciated the opportunity to play and support the Lincoln County Museum.

We’ve been asked to play for the NRoute concert series on Thursday night at Fort Cody. This is the last concert in the summer series. It was a good series. The audience continued to grow over the series. I’m looking forward to next summers series.  Come out and give a listen on Thursday.  Thanks to Morgan for the pictures.
