I am very excited that Rail Fest 2011 is about to start. A year’s worth of preparation is taking life here in Cody Park. The vendors are set. The sound is on the stage and people are gathering. Even with cooler weather anticipation fills the air. We are ready for a great celebration of the UP and of North Platte, Nebraska. It is going to be a fabulous weekend. Three days of music, food and fun. Oh yea and trains lots of train stuff. I’m excited.
